What a 10 Man Raiding Group Looks Like

A 10 man raiding group is going to fundamentally look a bit differently from any other group out there. While the 10 man raids are technically considered to be easier than the 25 man raids (and currently are pretty easy when you get it down), they do require quite a bit of flexibility from every member on your team. You’ll be going up against 1 million HP bosses with two teams of players and if a healer goes down you may have one extra on your staff. The same is true for your tank, so it is important that every single person on your team can play at least two roles. This is much easier these days with stats compounding for casters and tanks.

For tanks, you should have two tanks for every 10 man group and at least one off-tank who will act as DPS but can step in for tanking if necessary. Feral Druids, Blood Death Knights and Retribution Paladins are all good for this.

For healers, you’ll need two for most groups – this provides one for each tank but can make it hard to maintain the healing you’ll need to keep your group members alive against AoE bosses or ones with diseases or DoTs. Three healers is better, though you then need to consider whether you have enough DPS coming from the remaining 5 DPS members, especially against bosses with enrage timers that are shorter than most.

The best way to balance this out is to have two dedicated healers and an off healer who can throw out heals as needed for DPS members when they get hit – Shamans, Druids and Paladins can all play this role if they are properly specced. Shadow Priests are also good here because the Priest gear is all pretty close to the same now since Spell Power covers healing and damage.

Keep in mind that when you go into a 10 man raid, you need to flexible and versatile. Keep your eyes open, build up a group of highly talented, multi-functional people and bring the player not the class and you’ll do well.

There are many different styles of gold farming. The key to making a ton of gold in WoW is to use the parts of each style that best suits your playstyle.

This article will go over all styles of gold farming, including grinding, making a ton of gold from the auction house and using professions to make gold…not just waste gold trying to level it up. This is just going to cover the basics, but after reading this you should have a good understanding of what is need to farm hundreds of gold in World of Warcraft.

Lets start with the auction house. It’s a lot easier these days to make gold using the AH because of an add-on called the “Auctioneer”. The Auctioneer analyzes all the data in the AH and keeps track of it, making it simply to find items you can buy and sell for a higher price. Using this for about 30 minutes a day, you can make several hundred gold easy, every day.

To make things easier, you will want to make a mule character that just stays in the auction house for you to buy and sell items. Start off by letting the Auctioneer scan the auction house to build up a database of items and the prices they sell for. You can then scan for items that are listed in the low price range and can be bought and sold for higher prices.

Professions in World of Warcraft can also be a great way to make some decent gold. With new professions introduced in the expansions, raw materials tend to take off in price. When the Burning Crusade was release, miners made a ton of gold selling both ore and ingots. These are required in engineering, blacksmithing, and the new profession added to BC, Jewelcrafting.

In Wrath of the Lich King, herbalism is benefitting in much the same way as mining did in BC. The new Insription profession has sent herb prices way up.

Having a gathering profession will always be useful in making gold in WoW. Players are lazy, and would rather buy skins, ore, ingots, and herbs rather than take the time to farm them.

Grinding for gold in World of Warcraft is the easiest way of farming gold. It is also one of the most boring gold making methods.

If you are going to grind for gold on low level characters, killing humanoids is the way to go. They drop coin and cloth, which can sell pretty well, depending on the demand for your server. You will usually find they drop more blues and greens than other mobs.

Higher level characters will want to farm elementals for essences and motes. Farming low level instances for coin, cloth, and vendor loot can also be profitable. You might even get a decent blue item that twinks will pay a high price for.

Blizzard suggested the introduction of new flying mounts for the game but asserted at the same time that most of the time the players will keep grounded to utilize and enjoy what all they had learned on land. To palliate the problems faced while launching the Burning crusade expansion, a player is permitted to enter the continent from any given side. You can reach level 72 literally without touching the hellfire citadels of Borean Tundra or Howling Fjord at all.

Borean Tundra is infested with Tuskarr?s; the humanoid walrus that have made their inhabitation at Northrend. They add to the magic of the game. Nerubians are spider humanoids which have drawn close to the Lich king, they have a lost kingdom to fight for. Knight of the Ebon Blade and Knight of the silver hand keep fighting with each other. Death knights and scourges keep flying throughout.

The expansions would augment group content in similar ways to the earlier Burning Crusade expansion. Heroic access will not be determined by status and dignity of a faction, each 5 man dungeon can last for an hour. A couple of 5 man instances are the Violet hold and the Prison of Dalaran.
